Odia film Super star Akash Das Nayak today joins BJD. He joined the party in presence of BJD president Naveen Patnaik, Berhampur MP and his cine industry senior Siddhant Mohapatra, hockey icon and MP Dilip Tirkey. Known for his action role image among cine viewers, Akash is the son of trade union leader Mayadhar Nayak. It can be recalled that the BJD has the longest list of cine stars among the various political parties in state. The other actors in the regional outfit includes Prashant Nanda, Mihir Das, Siddhant Mohapatra, Anubhav Mohanty, Satykai Mishra and comedian Pappu Pom Pom.
