Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today congratulates sprinter Dutee Chand for winning double gold in Asian Junior Athletics Championship which is going on in Taipei.
For her unique achivement Odisha Olympic Association today announced 1 lakh award to her. It should be noted that on Sunday Dutee Chand lived up to the promise and delivered two gold medals to lift the Indian fortunes dramatically on the final day of the 16th Asian junior athletics championship in Taipei City .
Nearly two hours after winning the Gold medal in the women 200-mtr Gold, Odisha sprint sensation Dutee Chand had a double delight on the final day of the 16th Asian Junior Athletics Championships in Taipei city. Dutee along with her Indian teammates Jisha V V, Jessy Joseph and Vijaya Kumari won the women 4 X 400 meters relay Gold with a timing of 3:40:53 seconds.
