Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu Tuesday assured Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik of all possible help in implementing centrally-sponsored schemes in the state.
In a meeting with Patnaik here, Naidu also promised to expedite the release of pending funds, said a ministry official.
"The implementation of the urban development projects in Odisha especially those funded out of central funds of the Urban Renewal Mission were reviewed in the meeting," the official added.
Naidu, who also has charge of housing and urban poverty alleviation, told Patnaik that any modification required in the schemes for flexible implementation in the state will be discussed in detail.
