The Dehradun-headquartered Doon International School (DIS), a co-educational institute, launched its third centre and the first in the Eastern India on Sunday here.
Bhubaneswar is the third DIS branch after Dehradun and Mohali. It has a campus spread over 1.55 lakh sq ft of land at Sijua near the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
Like its parent school, this branch is well equipped to cater to the needs of students from all parts of the world.
“Doon International School, Bhubaneswar sets a benchmark in a technology-oriented education. It is truly is of international standard as students study in this school hail from different countries of the world,” said Chetan Bhagat, eminent writer.
DIS (Dehradun) chairman DS Mann informed that about 200 students have been enrolled starting from pre-standard up to Standard-VIII in the DIS, Bhubaneswar.
